Johannes and Elena travelled from Austria to Iceland's beautiful Snaefellsnes Peninsula, home of the wonderfully famous and much photographed little black church and just a short walk from Hotel Budir which hosted this wonderfully international wedding.

The sun shone from between the clouds and the wind blew hard during the day but it couldn't sway the spirits of our travellers and their families as they braved the weather to celebrate this wonderful union of two of the loveliest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. We also managed a first for me, some portraits outdoors at midnight as in July here, the sun set's briefly and only in the early hours which is when the dancing continued into.
